Would You Take It?

This is a solid delivery role with steady hours, brand backing, and tech tools provided. But you’ll be on the road daily, working solo, and responsible for safety, time, and product accuracy. It’s great for someone who enjoys independence and routine.

Would you take this job? Why or why not?

Did a similar lube-supply route and the real test wasn’t driving, it was hauling 5-gal oil pails (about 40 lbs) into shops with no dock. I’d take it if they confirm you have a liftgate, a sturdy hand truck, and a realistic stop count per day (ask their average), otherwise your back and schedule will hate you.

I’d consider it if the company vehicle has a lift gate or they provide a solid hand truck — those 5‑gal pails get old fast, especially at shops with no dock. The iPhone/laptop perk is nice, but the real decider is route size and how many stops you’re hitting around Springfield. Do they pay OT and set a clear start/finish window?
