I pre-bag smalls by zone while the van’s warming up — saves me 10–15 minutes on a 60-stop route and keeps fingers out of the wind; it’s my version of ‘sorting early saves time.’ Only caveat: I leave one ‘float’ bag unassigned so if traffic or a customer ping changes the plan, I can reshuffle without nuking the order.

I tag multi-piece drops with a bright zip tie and park them at the slider edge, so when I hit that cluster it’s a one-grab move — pairs well with @chalewi’s zone pre-bagging… Only caution: it’s easy to block your egress if you overstage, so I keep the aisle clear and cap it at five edge items max; measure twice, slam doors once.
