Staying Connected with Customers Matters

I’ve noticed that taking a couple of minutes to communicate with customers before and during delivery really boosts satisfaction. Just last week, I sent a quick message to let someone know I was running a bit late due to traffic. They really appreciated the heads-up and even gave me a nice tip when I arrived! It’s little things like that that can make a big difference in our day-to-day.

Totally agree! I always send a quick text if I see a delay; like you mentioned, a simple heads-up can really change the vibe.

It’s so true — just last week, I had a customer text me asking for an ETA while I was stuck in a delivery delay — i sent a quick photo of my route, and it really calmed their nerves. Communication can make such a big difference, but sometimes it just drives me nuts when I can’t get a signal to update them.

I hear you! I had a similar experience where I let a customer know I’d be there in 10 minutes, and they ended up meeting me at their door with snacks. Almost felt like a mini celebration.

I’ve found that a quick voice note works well too! Just last week, I used it to explain a delay, and my customer loved the personal touch. :mobile_phone:.
