On routes I review, one note pops up more than any other — what do you think it’s? Hint: it’s a placement request that helps customers feel secure and keeps packages out of sight, especially after 6 pm. I’m asking because honoring these preferences is a small touch that makes a big difference in someone’s day.
Pretty sure it’s “behind the planter/column”; after 6 pm I turn the box label-side in and take the photo from the street angle so it’s clearly hidden, and I’ll only tuck inside a screen door if it swings inward and there aren’t pets. Are you seeing more side-gate requests on routes with porch lights on timers?
Agree with @megan.c23: ‘between the doors’ wins; after 6, I latch the storm door gently; no storm door, side gate.
Different from @megan.c23, mine is “back door, please”; evenings, I use the parcel box when provided.
