I’ve been a delivery driver for a couple of years now, and I can’t stress enough how important it’s to have a solid sorting system. I usually sort packages by neighborhood and delivery time, which has really sped things up during peak hours — what methods do you all use to keep things efficient on the road?
I totally agree on sorting by neighborhood — i also like to pre-load my van in delivery order to save time on stops. It makes a huge difference during those busy hours.
Sorting by neighborhood is a solid strategy; i also find it helps to keep similar-sized packages together — it’s a bit like Tetris on wheels, right? What’s been your biggest challenge with sorting during peak times, @thompson_jay72?
